OUR STORY

How it all began

A small circle of voices gathered in prayer, and the room was filled with a glory that asked to be shared with the world.
The Hallel Vision

Hallel Community began as a quiet conviction — that worship is not merely an event, but a way of being. From a few committed singers carrying a single chorus, the community grew into something the founders never quite imagined: an annual gathering of hundreds, an academy raising the next generation, and a foundation reaching beyond the walls of any one room.

Each chapter of Hallel — from the first concert through Hallel 200, 300, and beyond — has been less about numbers and more about a singular pursuit: creating a place where the glory of God is encountered, revealed, and carried home.

What began as worship became a community.

What began as community became a calling — uniting the Body of Christ and subduing the earth for Christ.

“That they all may be one…” — Gospel of John 17:21

“That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God…” — Epistle to the Romans 15:6

“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord…” — Book of Habakkuk 2:14
