These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hallel Community website and related digital services. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
1. Who we are
Hallel Community operates from Abuja, Nigeria. Contact: [email protected].
2. Use of the platform
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when registering, donating, or applying for programmes.
- Not misuse the site (including attempting to disrupt, scrape, or access non-public areas without permission).
- Not use the site for unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory conduct.
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
3. Tickets and events
Event registrations and ticket purchases are subject to availability and event-specific rules displayed at the point of purchase. Unless otherwise stated for a particular event, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or where we explicitly offer a refund window in writing.
You are responsible for safeguarding your ticket QR code and account credentials. Duplicate or fraudulent use may be refused at the venue.
4. Donations
Donations are voluntary gifts to support Hallel Community programmes. Recurring donations continue until cancelled according to Paystack or your bank’s rules. Donation receipts are provided for record-keeping; tax treatment depends on your circumstances and local law—we do not provide personal tax advice.
5. Academy enrolment
Academy registration is subject to acceptance, payment verification, and course capacity. Course fees, schedules, and certification (if any) are described at registration. Failure to meet payment or conduct requirements may result in withdrawal of a place.
6. Choir and volunteer applications
Applications are reviewed at our discretion. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. You agree that information you provide may be used for audition and onboarding processes.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this site—including branding, text, graphics, recordings, and concert footage where displayed—is owned by Hallel Community or used under licence. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content without written permission, except for limited sharing that credits the community and does not imply endorsement.
8. Third-party links
The site may link to third parties (for example, payment providers or social networks). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site and services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law in Nigeria, Hallel Community and its leaders, volunteers, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, attendance at events, or participation in programmes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hallel Community against claims arising from your misuse of the site, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or notice on the site where appropriate.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts in Abuja shall have jurisdiction.
