"A choir that carries devotion as sound — from the rehearsal room to every room we're given."
The Hallel Mass Choir is made up of individuals from inter-denominational centres across Nigeria and the diaspora, united by one calling — to carry the sound of Hallel into every season.
Every year, after the annual Hallel concert, the choir admits a new class of members. The choir began with 100 voices and has grown season by season — Hallel 200, 300, and now on the journey to the seventh gathering. Membership to Hallel 400 is already open.
The choir rehearses weekly, prepares intensively for the annual concert, and occasionally ministers at partner events throughout the year. More than a performance group, the choir is a community — formed together, sent together.
The highest voice — carrying melody lines and soaring harmonies. Soprano voices in the Hallel choir are known for their clarity and precision.
Rich, warm, and foundational. The alto section provides the harmonic depth that gives the Hallel sound its signature warmth.
The tenor voice bridges the choir's upper and lower registers, carrying counter-melodies and inner harmonies that complete every arrangement.
The foundation beneath everything. The bass section of the Hallel choir anchors the sound and gives every moment its weight.

7TH
2026
The journey to the seventh gathering — the choir grows, the sound deepens.
Hallel Mass Choir members are expected to attend weekly rehearsals, intensive pre-concert sessions, and the annual Hallel concert. This is a community — showing up is part of the calling.
After your application is reviewed, your tribe leader will reach out to schedule an audition. The audition is not about perfection — it is about heart, teachability, and vocal potential.
Every choir member belongs to a tribe — a smaller community within the choir based on your area in Abuja. Your tribe leader will be your first point of contact for rehearsals, updates, and community.
